Overlooking Hardy’s Bay at Ogmore-by-Sea, Franklin’s Café Bar offers great food, a warm welcome and a fantastic view. To accompany your meal we are licensed to sell Welsh beers and lagers and a good selection of reasonably priced house wines. Below is our current menu and in addition to this we offer a specials menu on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening. Booking is advisable for these evenings.

Franklin’s also offer a take-away menu. We also sell locally produced chutney and jam, a deli counter selling cheese produced in Pembrokeshire, home marinated olives, freshly baked bread rolls and a selection of homemade pies and quiche. You will also find a veg stall outside the café where we sell locally grown vegetables.

We have diversified over the years and provide a forum for local artists to show and sell their work. This includes paintings, photographs, lithographs, handmade mirrors with a driftwood frame and beautifully crafted turned wood products such as barometers, clocks, tide time dials and bowls.

We sell donated books for 50p each which go towards the Southerndown Surf Life Saving Club. Donations of books are always welcome.
